Traveling Instructions for Saints who are attending the Sant Samagam at Sangli :
By Railway the nearest stations are Sangli Railway Station and Miraj Junction :
From Miraj Junction :
- Exit Platform No. 1.
- Miraj ST Bus Stand is 500 meters (7 minutes walk).
- Take any ST bus to Ashta / Islampur → direct drop at venue.
- Bus fare: ₹40–₹45.
- Auto rickshaw (20+ km): approx. ₹500.
From Sangli Railway Station :
- Exit Platform No. 1.
- Auto rickshaw: To Islampur Road (near Lokare Petrol Pump), 7 km, fare ₹150–₹200.
- No direct buses currently; Special ST / MSRTC buses from Sangli & Miraj depots to Ashta / Islampur will drop at venue.
Airport Pickup :
- To reach Sangli by flight, Pune is the nearest operational International Airport having two Terminals – Terminal 1 for Domestic flight and Terminal 2 for International flights and Kolhapur is the nearest operational Domestic Airport. Sewadal / Volunteers will be available at both airports from 21th January 2026.
- Prior Information will help to arrange vehicles for transportation from Pune and Kolhapur Airport to Samagam Ground.
- The Samagam ground is about 245 km away from Pune Airport and 55 km away from Kolhapur Airport.
By State Transport Buses from Mumbai / Pune / Kolhapur :
- Get down at Sangli Bus Stand.
- From Sangli Bus Stand :
- Need local transport details.
- Best option:
By Private Transport Buses from Mumbai / Pune / Kolhapur :
- Get down at Peth Naka, Sangli.
- From Peth Naka:
- ST buses are available but infrequent.
- Best option: Take an auto to Islampur ST Depot, then board an ST bus to Ashta or Islampur – it will drop you at the Samagam Venue.
Free Bus services, will be arranged by the Sant Nirankari Mandal from 21st January 2026 at Sangli Railway Station, Miraj Junction, Peth Naka and Sangli Bus Stand. For further assistance Sewadal / Volunteers will be available at all pick up points.

State Transport Bus Group Booking:
- From any district of Maharashtra, to go directly to the Samagam venue, S.T Group booking option of S.T buses is available. For this S.T. arrangements have been made to provide this facility to the entire Maharashtra by correspondence of the MSRTC Central Office in Mumbai.
- Under this facility, a group of at least 44 saints will have to be prepared for one bus. At the samagam venue S.T. The MSRTC office will be built so that a return journey group booking facility will be available. This facility will also be available to the saints going for pre-samagam services.
The Journey Details:
- In order to make proper arrangements for the saints coming to the Samagam, write the details of the number of coming saints from your area or branch, details of their journey i.e. name and number of bus, railway, or airplane etc., date and time etc. to the email ID- Please send it to [email protected].
- Please note that in the absence of this information, it is difficult to properly manage accommodation and free buses etc. at the venue of the Samagam.
- Sangli experiences cold weather in the month of January. Finally, the saints should carry warm clothes/bedding etc. as per requirement.
- There are no accommodation facilities in Sangli Bhavan:
- From 5th January 2026 to 31st January 2026, no accommodation will be available in any of the satsang bhavans in Sangli.
- Ultimately, no zonal in-charge, coordinator or Mukhi Mahatma should give any letter or permission to stay at any Bhavan premises in Sangli during this period.
- Residential arrangements for the Mahatmas coming for the Samagam have been made at the Samagam venue. So, may be Delhi or any other place, any saint should please reach the venue of the samagam directly.
- Saints coming by private vehicle:
- Appropriate parking arrangements will be made at the venue for the saints who reach the venue directly in their own vehicles and private buses.
- Avoid to descend on Highway (As No space for Parking of Vehicles).
